RECOVERY OF FLUORESCENT PAINT FROM SCRAPPED HOUSEHOLD ELECTRIC PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To recover a fluorescent paint with good efficiency, by washing the surfaces of fluorescent paint coated parts obtained by roughly disassembling and sorting a waste household electric product or coarsely crushing said parts to release a fluorescent substance and screening said fluorescent substance to concentrate the same. CONSTITUTION:Washing water containing the fluorescent substance obtained from a washing process 12 is separated from a precipitate 16 by concn. treatment such as centrifugal separation and filtering and the precipitate 16 is subjected to dehydration treatment 17 to obtain a fluorescent substance 18. Glass pieces treated by a coarsely crushing process is treated with a wet releasing apparatus such as a release mill or an ultrasonic washing apparatus and the fluorescent substance 18 is released in water in a release process 19. Therefore, glass pieces are obtained on a screen and the fluorescent substance slurry can be obtained under the screen in a screening process 20. This slurry is subjected to concn. treatment 15 and similarly treated on and after to obtain the fluorescent substance 18.
