A shower cubicle has a window valve (4) which is arranged with an essentially vertical axis of rotation (38) via hinges (8) on a vertical profiled rail (10). The overall width of the shower cubicle is to be capable of being adapted within a large adjustment range to the respective installation conditions, the intention being to utilise essentially the entire width of the profiled rail and to provide a good seal. It is proposed that the window valve (4) be arranged, by means of a bearing arm (32) of the hinge (8), in a plane which has a distance (46) from the axis of rotation (38). The window valve (4) is moreover situated, in the closed state and looking in the direction of a shower bath (61), behind the profiled rail (10) and the bearing bracket (12), and, for adjusting the window valve (4) in said plane, the window valve (4) and/or the hinge (8) is also provided with a slot (24) running transversely to the axis of rotation (38). <IMAGE>
