PURPOSE:To provide a honeycomb type cylindrical heat exchanger with a high thermal efificiency and a less loss of pressure by a method wherein adjoining sheets are layered to each other to form the adhered portions and non-adhered portions, each of said sheets is expanded in such a way as they are moved away from each other and flow passages are formed between the sheets at the non-adhered portions. CONSTITUTION:Each of adhesive agents 4 and 7 is coated on the adjoining sheets 3 and 6 in such a way as a space between the non-adhered portions 5 and 8 is gradually expanded toward the axis of the honeycomb type cylindrical heat exchanger and further as the adhesive agent 7 is overlapped at the center of the non-adhered portions 5. Then, the sheets 3 and 6 are layered and adhered to each other and the upper and lower parts of the layered adhered sheets are fixed by aluminum plates 9 and 10 or the like, each of the sheets is expanded around one end edge of the sheet and the aluminum plates 9 and 10 are fixed to each other, resulting in that a honeycomb type cylindrical heat exchanger A forming a flow passage between the sheets at the non-adhesive portions is formed. As a result, different flow passages can be formed and a heat exchanger unit which is highly efficient, sutable for an automatic operation and has a less reduction in pressure. |
