In the case of a ladder for entrance into a supply shaft, which is provided at its upper end with a securing means, attachable to the shaft neck or to the shaft wall, and which comprises two lateral stringers and rungs attached therebetween, the object of providing an easily and safely accessible ladder for entrance into a supply shaft which is distinguished by simple construction and use is to be achieved. The invention achieves this object by an auxiliary ladder which can be extended upwards, is attached in parallel with the entrance ladder, can be displaced, can be fixed in the extended position, and likewise comprises two lateral stringers and rungs arranged therebetween being attached as an entering aid to the entrance ladder on the side facing the shaft wall, between the securing-means elements.
