<p>1300045 Dialysis liquid supply system VERNITRON CORP 13 Jan 1970 [21 April 1969] 1675/70 Heading B1X In a dialysis liquid supply system thermostatted water flowing from a thermostatic valve 12 mixes in conduit 14 with concentrated dialysis liquid pumped from a tank 20 by a pump 22. The diluted dialysis liquid passes to a dialyser (not shown) via a valve 32 and a sensor assembly 24 which includes temperature and conductivity gauges 26, 28. If either the temperature or conductivity falls outside presoribed limits the sensor 24 shuts off pump 22 and closes a solenoid operated valve 30 to stop the diluted dialysis liquid supply. To reattain the prescribed temperature and conductivity condtions the valve 32, which includes an interlock system to disconnect the sensor alarm assembly 24, is manually closed so that diluted dialysis fluid is diverted to a drain via pressure relief valve 36, responsive to the operation of valve 32, until the prescribed conditions are re-attained whereupon the valve 32 is manually reopened.</p> |
