<p>A wind power plant is to be cost-effective to manufacture, function irrespective of the wind direction and be easily enlargeable. To this end the wind power plant has a drum-like rotor (2), turning about a vertical axis (1), with radial vanes (3) set between the drum flanges (6, 7), and an annular stator (4) with a ring of vertical baffle plates (5), which each stand at an angle of approximately 45 DEG to the associated radial of the rotor (2). <IMAGE></p> |
