Machines for the production of packaging containers are often fed with tubular blanks which are converted into filled packaging containers in the machine. The handling of individual blanks entails disadvantages, for instance with regard to hygiene, and these disadvantages can be overcome in a machine according to the invention. The machine comprises two cooperating machine parts (2, 3), that is to say a first machine part (2) for converting web-like packaging material (4) into tubular blanks (5) and a second machine part (3) for converting blanks (5) into filled packaging containers. <IMAGE>
