In a device for preparing beverages, in particular tea, in which at least one supply container having a liquid concentrate is connected in each case via a syphon line, which can be closed by a magnetic valve, to a mixer head which has a connection for a water pipe which can be shut off by a magnetic valve and to which a water heater is assigned, the magnetic valve forming a constructional unit with the mixer head in the syphon line and the connection for the water pipe on the mixer head being constructed as an injector nozzle, provision is made according to the invention for the magnetic valve in the syphon line to be driven in a pulsed manner with an adjustable pulse length with the aid of an electronic relay.
