PURPOSE:To operate stably an operation for recovering a hermetic converter waste gas and to improve the rate for recovering the waste gas by detecting the forming condition in the hermetic converter by an in-furnace observing device and operating a control system for waste gas recovery according to the detecting conditions thereof. CONSTITUTION:A probe 6 for observing the furnace inside is inserted into an in- furnace observation hole 5 provided to the side wall of the above-mentioned converter 1. The light in the furnace detected at the probe end is converted to an electric signal by a photo electric conversion element 7 and the condition of slag forming is detected in a detector 9 for the quantity of the slag forming. The above-described information obtd. from the detector 9 is inputted to an arithmetic processing unit 10 to calculate the proportional band PB (%) and integrating time T1 which are control parameters by a reference control program. On the other hand, the measured value of the furnace port pressure is inputted from a signal transmitter 4 for the furnace port pressure to said unit, by which the calculation of the equation is executed. The result thereof is transmitted to a damper maneuvering device 13, by which a damper 12 is opened and closed. |
