PURPOSE:To allow the engine brake characteristic to be properly developed, by reducing the engine brake effect on the low-speed side when the engine-brake operation range is selected. CONSTITUTION:In order to obtain the engine-brake characteristic only by an actuator 100 and the engine-brake characteristic corrected so that the engine brake effect on a low-speed stage side is reduced, as the characteristic of the Ds range for engine brake, a correcting means 110 and a switching means 120 are installed so as to be interlocked with each other between a sensor shoe 65 which shifts according to the speed change ratio and the top edge of the piston of the actuator 100. On a flat road, a solenoid 124 is turned-OFF by a control circuit, and the sensor shoe 65 releases the pushing-in of the actuator 100 through a correcting lever 113 and an arm 121, and thus the engine brake effect is reduced. |
