PURPOSE:To realize the main unit of a cock to be formed in a small size, by containing a temperature sensing extending and contracting material in a movable cock body havibg in its inside a mixing cold and hot water path and moving a spool by the action of this extending and contracting material so as to enable a cold and a hor inflor water path to be separately stopped. CONSTITUTION:This cock comprises a temperature setter part A including a slider 24 longitudinatly moved in the axial direction through a spindle 16 by rotating a temperature adjusting handle, control valve part B including a spool 35 equipping a temperature sensing extending and contracting material 34 and a flow setter part C including a movable cock body 41 longitudinally moved by operating an adjusting screw 43. The spool 35 forms in its both ends a cold water valve 31 and a hot water valve 32, and the cock respectively partitions an inflow cold water path G by the cold water valve 31 and a cold water valve seat 36a in a spool case 36 while a hot inflow water path H by the hot water valve 32 and a hot water valve seat 41a on the movable cock body 41. And the movable cock body 41 is provided so as to enable the opening area of a cold water inflow groove 38 and a hot water inflow groove 39 to be changed through the spool 35 in accordance with the action of the temperature sensing extending and contracting material 34 housed in a mxing hot and cold water path 41c. |
