Process comprises cooling a blast furnace slag to give it a high glass content, reducing the granulated blast furnace slag to a particulate material, removing all the particles retainable by a 300 mu mesh and at least a substantial portion of the particles which can pass an 80 mu mesh and subjecting the remaining particles to magnetic sepn to remove iron. |
