PURPOSE:To reduce bending stress of crank shaft due to the flywheel by securing the wheel boss section to the end section of crank shaft then supporting the flywheel against said boss section while rollably around an axis crossing perpendicularly with the axis of crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:The crank shaft 1 is supported by the bearing 6 of crank case 5 and rotated by means of a crank pin 12 and crank arm 13. The center side wheel boss section 3 of splitted and fitted flywheel is secured to the output side shaft end section 2 of said crank shaft 1. Then a joint shaft 32 is secured to said boss section 3 in the direction perpendicular with the axis of crank shaft 1 to project the opposite end sections 32a to the position facing each other on the circumferential face of boss section 3. While main body 4 of flywheel is jointed to hold said opposite end sections 32a by means of the splitted annular chips 41. Consequently, the main body 4 is supported rollably around the joint shaft 32. |
