The present invention relates to a pivotal hatch, mainly for sun protection for cars. According to the invention, the pivot joints of the hatch are formed by pairs of hinge flanges 6,7, which protrude from the inside of the hatch 1 and which between themselves form curved bearing surfaces, and at least one guide 2, which has/have circular-shaped portions to a number which is equal to the number of pairs of hinge flanges 6,7, the bearing surfaces of the flanges enclosing the circular portions of the guide(s) over more than half of the circumference. The circular portions of the guide(s) 2 further have a length which is at least twice the size of the extent of the hinge flanges 6,7 and have along a section 14 of the same length as the hinge flanges a part which has been cut away along a chord, which part is dimensioned such that the hinge flanges can be detached from the guide(s) when the flanges are lying directly in front of the sections 14 having cut-away parts and when the hatch has a predetermined pivot position. <IMAGE> |
