PURPOSE:To avoid the crushing of letters, etc. in making printing by a thermal head by providing ink layers of independent small sections on a base paper. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer 1 consisting of independent small sections 11 is provided on base paper 2. The small sections 11 are separated from each other independently and the size of each of the sections 11 is 1/2 or less (e.g., 30- 40mum) of the diameter (l) of thermal dot. Since the ink layer 1 is formed of mutually separated independent small sections 11, the transfer of ink beyond the points of thermal dots and the outlines of lines by melting can be avoided. Very clear letters or transferred solid recording can thus be obtained. |
