FILM FEEDING MECHANISM FOR RETRIEVING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce the loading to a motor preventing the film from being slackened and being protruded from by installing a brake mechanism which is not active at the time of the normal retrieving operation but active at the time of the autoloading operation with the brake applied. CONSTITUTION:In the autoloading operation, a plunger 110A is retracted with a solenoid 110 energized allowing a brake plate 112 of a brake mechanism to be swung with a fulcrum at a pin 111 by a specified angle. This causes the inner surface of its hole 113 to press a cartridge shaft 100 which is connected with a cartridge 10 that feeds a film for retrieval use. The brake is applied to the cartridge shaft 100 by this pressing action preventing the film from being slackened and being protruded from the cartridge 10. In the film retrieving operation, the brake action is released by separating the brake plate 112 from the cartridge shaft 100 with the solenoid 110 deenergized.
