PURPOSE:To separate/unite a driving section and a shock absorber main body quickly and easily by construction the diaphragm and the control rod of a liquid-operated shock absorber separately and constructing a housing and a piston rod in one unit. CONSTITUTION:A liquid-operated shock absorber is composed of a driving section 6A and a shock absorber main body 18A. The driving section 6A is composed of a housing 1, a diaphragm 2 partitioning this housing 1 into the first operating chamber 3 and the second operating chamber 4, and a spring 5A. The shock absorber main body 18A is composed of a cylinder 7, a piston 8 having a damping force generating mechanism and inserted to partition the interior of the cylinder 7 into an upper liquid chamber 9 and a lower liquid chamber 10, a piston rod 12, a control rod 13 inserted into a through hole 14, a spring 25 energizing the control rod 13, and a damping force adjusting section 16 opening/ closing an orifice 17. The driving section 6A and the shock absorber main body 18A are connected with the housing 1 and the rod 13, which are their component elements respectively. |
