PURPOSE:To make calipers unnecessary by inserting the annular V-shaped brake member of a piston-driven annular member into an annular V-groove formed on the side face of a rotary disk rotatably supported on a hub and supporting the annular member on the outer periphery side with the hub via a support member. CONSTITUTION:A wheel disk 1 is fixed with bolts to a rotary disk 2 provided with a shaft 3 in one body, a V-groove 5 is annularly formed on the side face of the said disk 2, and multiple through holes 6 penetrating from the V-groove 5 to the outer periphery of the disk 2 are formed. An annular V-shaped brake member 7 is inserted into the V-groove 5 in close contact with it. The brake member 7 is fixed to an annular member 8 supported with a hub 12 via a torque support member 16 on the outer periphery side, the annular member 8 is slided by the action of an annular piston 9 assembled in the hub 12 so as to press the brake member 7 to the disk 2. Multiple elastic members 11 are provided at a uniform angle between the annular member 8 and the piston 9, and an elastic member 17 is inserted between the torque support member 16 and the hub 12. |
