PURPOSE:To perform proper combustion control as well as to aim at improvements in a combustion state ever so better, by installing a combustion state judging device, judging the combustion state inside a combustion chamber of an engine, and a combustion controlling device, controlling the combustion state, either. CONSTITUTION:A first ion sensor 9 is installed in position approximate to a spark plug 8 inside a combustion chamber of an engine E, while a second ion sensor 10 is installed in position apart from the spark plug 8. A combustion state judging part 14 judges a combustion state inside the engine combustion chamber from output of an ion sensor input part 13. An ignition timing control part 15 and an ignition energy control part 16 both function as a combustion controlling device. Thus, accurate combustion control is performable so that improvement for an accurate combustion state is achievable. |
