PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous setting of a transfer material by differentiating the setting portions of both end sides of a bobbin on the sending-out side and the winding side. CONSTITUTION:A transfer material sending and housing part 6 and a winding and housing part 7, consisting of bobbins 10 and 20 to wind the transfer material 5 and reels 12 and 22 detachable from both end sides of the bobbins 10 and 20, are provided. The transfer material 5 and an object 4 to be transferred are set between a platen 1 and a recording head 2, and transfer printing is made by transferring the colorant of the transfer material to the object to be transferred by operating the head 2. A thermal transfer ribbon 5 is set on the sending-out side and the winding side of the bobbins 10 and 20. In this case, the reels 12 are detachably set to the setting portions 21 of both end sides of the bobbin 10 and the reels 22 are also set detachable set to the setting portions 21 of both end sides of the bobbin 20. Both end sides of the bobbin 10 and one sides of the reels 12 are formed in the same color, and both end sides of the bobbin 20 and one sides of the reels 22 are formed in different colors from that of the sending-out side. |
