PURPOSE:To complete the fixation of recording face for hot-melt transfer recording system by a method in which the back side of a recording medium on which a hot-melt ink is transferred is heated by heating rollers in such a way as to impregnate the ink so transferred into the recording medium sufficiently. CONSTITUTION:The heating element of a thermal head 1 in contact with the base side of a ribbon 4 coated with a hot-melt ink 4a is electrically energized according to a recording timing, and the ink 4a is transferred to a recording paper 3. Since the ink 5 is insufficiently impregnated into the paper 5 and its fixation is bad, the paper 3 with the transferred ink 5 is heated by a heating rubber 7 on the back side of the transferred face to a temperature above the melting point of the ink for example, in such a way as to impregnate the ink 5 into the paper 3 for stable fixation. The dislocation and separation of the recorded face can thus be prevented. |
