PURPOSE:To lessen the friction of the surface of a thermal head as well as obtain clear-cut recordings by making picture-forming actions for recording papers while giving a vibration in the direction of pressing a hot-melt transfer recording medium onto a recording paper to thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 4 is attached through a movable slide base 13 to a carrier 2 and also connected to the operating bar 14 of the second solenoid 5. When operating the second solenoid 6, the solenoid 4 is pushed by the bar 14 and moved forwards by a given distance, and a thermal head 1 is also slightly pushed toward the platen 7 side. A hot-melt transfer recording medium 9, in which a hot-melt solid ink layer composed primarily of a wax and a color pigment is provided on the surface of a film base, is designed to be pressingly touched by a recording paper 8 because the ink layer of the medium 9 is faced the paper 8. In this case, the solenoid 4 is vibrated, and while the vibration is given to the thermal head 1, the head 1 is operated. |
