PURPOSE:To change direction smoothly by making the moving speed of a vertically moving device for a rod having adsorbing device and the turning speed of said rod equal to the conveying speed of a conveyor belt, in a feeding device for a board-like object with a smaller board thickness such as a printed-wiring board. CONSTITUTION:A thin plate 13 is adsorbed by an adsorbing device 10 and a horizontally moving device 5 is moved to separate one sheet of the thin plate 13 from a guide bar 4. Then, a vertically moving device 7 is lowered. The lowering speed at this time is equal to the moving speed of a conveyor 11. And, thereby, the lower end of the thin plate 13 starts to be conveyed at the same time it is brought in contact with the conveyor 11. The vertically moving device 7 is stopped when it is lowered to position while, at the same time, its rod 9 is turned around its shaft at the samd speed as the speed of the belt conveyor 11, is vertically positioned with respect to the conveyor 11, and its adsorption is released. Thereby, the change in direction and the conveyance of the thin plate 13 can be smoothly carried out. |
