COMPOSITION FOR PIGMENTED POLYAMIDE MOLDING

PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which does not cause lowering in impact strength nor tensile strength inherent in a polyamide resin when blended with the polyamide resin, by blending an alkylene bis(fatty acid amide) with a polyamide compsn. contg. a dye or pigment. CONSTITUTION:An alkylene bis(fatty acid amide) of the formula (wherein R is a 1-4C alkylene; R', R'' are each a residue of a 9-18C fatty acid) such as ethylenebisstearamide is used. 1-60wt% dye or pigment (e.g. carbon black having a particle size of 8-120mmu) and 0.2-20wt% said org. compd. are mixed with a polyamide resin such as nylon 66 or nylon 6. The mixture is melt-kneaded in an extruder to form a resin compsn. for pigmented polyamide molding.
