A refrigerator cooled by air circulation comprises an inner lining or shell 1 formed by two separate bodies 2, 4 adapted to be coupled together, the coupling line therebetween being covered by an adhesive band or tape 6. The refrigerator housing 17 is preferably of metal and includes only the sides and top of the refrigerator. The remainder being covered by a light sheet 18 e.g. paperboard and the space between the housing or sheet and lining is filled with a thermal insulation material 16 preferably foamed plastics.
