PURPOSE:To perform electrochemical doping with low voltage in a short time by making the positive and the negative electrodes by homogeneously mixing a conductive powder into polyacetylene films. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode 11 consisting of a polyacetylene film where a conductive powder 13 such as Au or Pt is homogeneously dispersed, a negative electrode 12 consisting of a polyacetylene film where a conductive powder 13 such as Cs or Rb is homogeneously dispersed and a separator 2 consisting of a filter made of glass fiber or similar material and is placed between the electrodes 11 and 12 are installed in a case 1. Next, auxiliary positive and negative electrodes 7 and 8 installed outside the positive and the negative electrodes 11 and 12. After that, a liquid electrolyte prepared by dissolving lithium perchlorate in propylene carbonate is poured into the case 1, thereby assembling a plastic secondary battery. Owing to the above structure, it is possible to perform low voltage charging by reducing the internal resistance of the battery during doping. Furthermore, it is also possible to greatly increase discharge capacity by equalizing the progress of doping. |
