PURPOSE:To detect a trouble by a simple circuit with high reliability by reducing the supplied oil when a car-speed signal generates a trouble signal. CONSTITUTION:A car-speed sensor 1 generates the car-speed signals in the repetitive generation of '1' level and '0' level when a car travels. The condenser 5f of a short-circuit detecting circuit 5 is charged when the car-speed signal is at '1' level, and discharged at '0' level. When a trouble is generated in the car- speed sensor 1, the continuation signals at '1' level are sent out, and the voltage of the nonreversal input terminal of a comparator 5h increases, and the comparator 5h sends '1' level signals into a control circuit 7, and cuts off the signal to a solenoid driving circuit 4, and the oil supplied into a power steering apparatus reduces, and the necessary operation force increases, and therefore, even if a trouble is generated during high-speed traveling, safety is secured. |
