PURPOSE:To obtain effective air conditioning by providing a smoke sensor at a position where smoke in an in-car air circulating pipe can be easily detected, controlling an in-car air-outside air change-over device by the smoke sensor to introduce outside air and providing a movable filter for filtration. CONSTITUTION:In case of in-car air circulation, an in-car air-outside air change- over device 10 is closed and air flows along the solid line. If smoke is produced by smoking or others and, when it reaches a predetermined level, a smoke sensor 9 causes a movable filter 8 to be loaded in an in-car air circulating pipe 5 and, at the same time, the in-car air-outside air change-over device 10 opens an outside air inlet pipe 17, as shown by the broken line in the drawing, to introduce outside air. Thus, introduction of outside air permits more effective air conditioning than the conventional method, and as the smoke sensor 9 is disposed within the air conditioner where air flow therewithin is used for easy detection of smoke, the smoke detecting capacity of the smoke sensor 9 can be improved. In case of outside air introduction, only the movable filter 8 is loaded. |
