PURPOSE:To prevent overflow of a remaining developer by supporting a recovery vessel so that this vessel is displaced in accordance with the quantity of the developer supplied and recovered in this vessel and detecting this displacement. CONSTITUTION:A recovery pack 9a to which a toner T is recovered through a recovery tube 8 is held in a box-shaped casing 11 whose upper face is opened, and the pack 9a and the casing 11 constitute a double structure. A table 13 supported elastically in the floating state by a spring 12 is provided in the casing 11, and the pack 9a is placed on the table 13. The recovery pack 9a falls against the energizing force of the spring 12 in accordance with the weight of the recovered toner T. A microswitch 14 is provided in the bottom of the casing 11, and a maximum fall position of a fall displacement L due to contraction of the spring 12 is set to the full position, and the full state is detected by the switch 14 when the table 13 falls to the full position by the weight of the recovered toner in the pack 9a. |
