PURPOSE:To enhance vibration or pressure resistance, by fixing a light detection member to a fixing member in the side opposite to the side of a combustion chamber and supporting the same in the side of the combustion chamber from the fixed part only through the vibration preventing material contacted with the outer periphery of the light detection member. CONSTITUTION:A quartz glass rod 30 being a light detection member is fixed only to a metal case 3 in the side opposite to a combustion chamber by an adhesive 37 and, in the side of the combustion chamber from the fixed part, said glass rod 30 is supported only by an O-ring 39 being a vibration preventing material without directly contacting with a mount case 33. Therefore, even if the combustion chamber reaches high temp., the rising in the temp. of the metal case 35 is slower than that of said combustion chamber and tensile stress applied to the quartz rod 30 by thermal expansion is also low and. because the part, on which stress is acted, is not extended over the total length of the quartz glass rod, this quartz glass rod receives no damage by stress. As a result, vibration or pressure resistance is enhanced. |
