PURPOSE:To obtain a plate material for flexographic printing which is impoved in printability and photoengarving property in particular and to obtain high printability on a material to be printed having a rough surface as well by providing a photosensitive layer laminated strippably with the same or different photosensitive resin plates which can be removed of unexposed parts with the same developing soln. on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The plate material for flexographic printing having the photosensitive layer 5 laminated with the same or different photosensitive resin plates 4, 3, of which the parts not exposed by the irradiation of active rays can be removed by the same developer on a protective plate 2 such as polyester sheet or Al sheet in common use as the substrate and a protective cover on the layer 5 is manufactured. The photosensitive layer 5 compression-bonded with the layers 3, 4 consisting of the 4mm. thick ''Elaslon(R)'' (produced by Tokyo Oka Kogyo) which is, for example, the photosensitive flexographic resin plate as the layer 3 and the 3mm. thick layer as the layer 4 is provided thereto. An adhesive layer may be thinly provided to the boundary face 10 of the layers 3, 4. A negative film 6 is brought into tight contact with such plate material except the cover 1 and the active rays shown by arrows 7 are exposed thereon. Notches 9 are given to the pattern 8 of the exposed part beyond the face 10 except the contour part 9 at the edge side and after the layer 3 in the unexposed part is stripped, the material is developed to dissolve away the layers, 3, 4 in the ramining unexposed parts, by which the printing material is obtd. |
