<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by the formula (R represents H, Cys, Gly-Cys, Leu-Gly-Cys, Gly-Leu-Gly-Cys, Ser-Gly-Leu-Gly-Cys, Gln-Ser-Gly-Leu- Gly-Cys, Ala-Gln-Ser-Gly-Leu-Gly-Cys, Gly-Ala-Gln-Ser-Gly-Leu-Gly-Cys, etc.). USE:An etiological diagnostic agent for essential hypertension and an agent for pathological research. PREPARATION:For example, a carboxy(C)-terminal amino acid is bonded to an insoluble support such as a Chloromethyl resin, and further bonded with an amino-protected amino acid according to an amino acid sequence in the presence of a condensing agent, followed by elimination of the amino-protecting group. By repeating the above-mentioned procedure, a polypeptide is synthesized and finally a compound expressed by the formula is obtained by eliminating all protecting groups and separating itself from the resin.</p> |
