PURPOSE:To enable accurate sequence control by accurately detecting the position of a moving body such a manuscript table, by detecting the position of the moving body by the digital value obtained by the A/D conversion of an analogue amount changed with the movement of the moving body. CONSTITUTION:A variable resistor is connected to the pinion to which the ratation of a motor M1 is transmitted through advance and retraction clutches and a resistance value changes with the rotation of the pinion. The converted value VR obtained by applying A/D conversion to said changed resistance value reduces with the retraction of a manuscript placing table 1 and, when the value VR reaches 130, a solenoid SL1 is turned ON to start the checking of the stagnation and jamming of a final copy at an outlet and, when said value reaches 22, LS1 is turned ON to check a paper feed mistake. When the table 1 advances and the value VR reaches 34, SL4 is turned On and, when 63, SL3 is turned ON to change over developing bias to an imge used. Next when the value VR reaches 93, SL3 and SL4 are turned OFF to start the checking of outlet stagnation and jamming at the time of continuous duplication and, when the value VR reaches 233, SL2 is turned OFF to perform the reversal of a moving direction. |
