<p>Organs or tissues of mammalian animals, e.g. bovine cartilage or bovine, porcine or ovine trachea, is (a) prepared by aq. or enzymatic washing with pepsin or bacterial protease, subtilisima neutral in HCl medium, at pH 2.1-2.5 and at 48-52 deg.C for the pepsin, and at neutral pH and 58-62 deg.C for the protease; (b) subjected to enzymatic proteolysis; and (c) the glycosamine-glycanes are fractionated with quaternary ammonium salts and the prod. purified.</p> |
