Hydrocarbon(s) obtd. by yield from sewage sludge by hydrogenation

A process for the preparation of hydrocarbons from a clarifier sludge is described in which the clarifier sludge is subjected to treatment at a temperature of 300 to 600 degree C and a pressure of 100 to 500 bars, in which hydrogenation with hydrogen is performed simultaneously or immediately after this treatment at the same pressure and the same temperature in the presence of a catalyst, and in which the gaseous phase is afterwards decomposed into its components by stepwise reduction of the pressure and/or temperature. By means of this process clarifier sludge is disposed of without pollution with the simultaneous production of hydrocarbons.
