<p>New salts of beta-alkylaminopropionic acid esters have formula (I) n = 4-12; R1 = H or Me; R2, R3 = 1-6C alkyl; X = halogen, HSO4, an anion of a 1-4C organic acid, or CH3OSO3. Compsn. contains I and ethoxylates of 4-12C alkyl phenols with 6-25 mols. EO, or of 10-18C alcohols with 5-25 mols. EO. An acrylic ester of formula (II) is reacted with a sec. amine of formula HNR2R3, followed by quaternisation with methyl halide or dimethyl sulphate, or reaction with an inorganic acid. R2 = R3 = CaH2a+1; a = 1-6.</p> |
