In a liq. shoe- and leather-care compsn., present as an aq. dispersion having pH 7-8, the non-aq. constituent consists of, by wt.,: (A) 15-45% carnauba-, candelilla- and/or montanic acid ester wax, (B) 10-30% lanolin, (C) 20-45% dispersible, film-forming aliphatic polyurethane resin, (D) 1-4% water-soluble, polymeric polycarboxylic acid, (E) 6-24% nonionic emulsifier, (F) 0-2% water-soluble 2-12C hydroxyalkalmine, (G) 0-5% perfume oils, preservatives, foam-inhibitors, emulsifier auxiliaries and/or dyes, (H) 0-25% liq. flow-control agents. The non-aq. constituent makes up 3-20 (4-12) wt% of the dispersion.
