A piston compressor for gaseous media, for example a brake air-compressor for motor vehicles, whith a lubricant pump (5), which conveys lubricant from an externally mounted storage tank (6, 7) through a lubricant circuit (8) of the compressor (3), a return-flow duct (10) for the lubricant being provided from the crank chamber (9) of the compressor (3) to the storage tank (6, 7), and an automatic non-return valve (11), which blocks the passage of the return-flow duct (10) in the direction of the crank chamber (9) of the compressor (3), being inserted in the return-flow duct (10) which leads back with a drop to the storage tank (6, 7) which is situated at a lower level, characterized in that the compressor (3) is provided with a device for regulating the quantity conveyed and the crank chamber (9) of the compressor (3) is tightly sealed until the lubricant is supplied and removed.</p> |
