The pneumatic power booster is particularly for an automotive braking system, having pot-shaped front and rear housing sections (10, 20), each with a casing (14, 24) and a collar, combined to form a cylinder housing in which a piston plate (30) works. A diaphragm (40) with rolling bellows is clamped between the housing sections, while its inner portion is supported by the piston plate. - In the rest position, with equal pressure in both chambers, the bellows protrudes forward, and as the plate moves forward with decreasing pressure in the front chamber it bears against the casing of the front housing section. The front housing section (20) has a casing section (24) in frontof its collar and against which the bellows bears of larger diameter than the O (1/3)
