PURPOSE:To form the bead having a different spring constant according to the sealing place by providing the projection of the necessary bead shape surrounding the sealing place for a male die and the opening of the necessary bead shape having different width according to the sealing place for a female die. CONSTITUTION:The slit 6 of the necessary bead shape surrounding the sealing place of a metallic gasket 26 is made for the male die 4 consisting of a metallic plate and the projection 12 is formed with projecting a metallic strip 8 to the prescribed height from the plate face 10. Similarly for a female die 14 the opening 16 of the necessary bead shape is provided with differentiating the width W1 according to the sealing place as well as corresponding to the projection 12. The necessary beads 42, 46, 48 are thus formed on the gasket 26 by holding with strong pressure the original plate 28n with locating the main plate 28 and the plate 28n of the metallic gasket 26 between the dies 4, 14. Accordingly the bead differentiating a spring constant by the sealing place can be formed on a metallic gasket. |
