PURPOSE:To make recording energy effective highly, to restrain the thermal deterioration of a heat generation body, and to obtain an effect of an elongation of an abrasion life and the like by forming an electrode adjucent to a generation body especially thin. CONSTITUTION:A thin film electrode 1 is made thin sufficiently near a heat generation body 2, and the thickness of this thin film electrode at a connection section 1' is almost negligiblly small compared to a length (l) of the heat generation body 2. Therefore, a section of the heat generation body 2 is not formed as a depression, the contacting property between a recording medium and the heat generation body 2 is maintained also at the connection section 1' sufficiently, a heat generated in the heat generation body 2 is transmitted to the recording medium effectively. Accordingly, the loss of energy is reduced, a high quality printing is carried out with a low energy, and a deterioration of the heat generation body 2 itself owing to the heat becomes difficult to happen, since a thermal load to the heat generation body 2 itself is lightened. |
