PURPOSE:To surely being the CVT speed change ratio the maximum before a vehicle stops by increasing the line pressure when the vehicle speed is lower than the predetermined value and moreover the foot-brake is applied. CONSTITUTION:Vehicle speed V and predetermined speed V1 in the line-pressure control routine flow-chart, while whether the foot-brake is ON or OFF is decided. If the condition that V<=V1 and moreover the foot-brake is ON is established or when the vehicle is going to stop suddenly, the line pressure Pl is increased. At the time other than the above, the line pressure Pl is set at an normal value, or the minimum value as far as the torque transmission is ensured. Owing to increase in approaching speed of an output side movable pulley to the output side fixed pulley, which is caused by an increase in the line pressure, CVT speed change rate increases in order to quickly reach the maximum speed change ratio. |
