PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of an airtight optical through terminal used for a closed thyristor valve of gas insulation, etc. by fixing the potential of a terminal of an optical guide of the inside of an enclosed vessel to the potential of the wall surface of this vessel. CONSTITUTION:An optical guide fitting part 1 to which an optical guide 7 is connected is constituted of a conductive material such as a metal, etc., and the surface of a flange 3 is covered with a metallic plating 11 so that said fitting part 1 and an enclosed vessel wall 6 are connected electrically. In this way, a leakage current 10 of the optical guide 7 flows to the enclosed vessel wall 6 through the metallic plating 11, therefore, the potential of a terminal of the optical guide 7 is fixed to the potential of the enclosed vessel wall 6, and an electric discharge phenomenon between the optical guides can be prevented. |
