PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of the life of an ink ribbon and a dot head magnet respectively by controlling the length of a current flowing time to the dot head magnet with printing on a rather thick slip blank and a rather thin roll blank respectively. CONSTITUTION:A current flowing time to a dot head magnet is changed with a roll blank and a slip blank. That is, a high level output signal Sv is sent out from a slip blank detector 16, since the slip blank 8 is not set to a slip guide 7, when the printing to a receipt blank 3 and a jounal blank 4 is carried out, a transistor 24 is ON operation, the resistance value of a time constant circuit is made smaller than the series resistance value of resistances 22 and 25, and the time constance of monostable multivibrator is made smaller. Therefore, the current flowing time is shorten, and a suitable impact force is made. Moreover, the low level output signal Sv is sent out from the slip blank detector 16 and OFF action is operated by the transistor 24, when the slip blank is set to the slip guide 7. |
