PURPOSE:To eliminate the color deviation of multi-colored pictures by giving the charge of a polarity same as a toner at the rear surface of a transfer material, impressing a reverse polaritly voltage to a transfer drum and attracting the transfer material so as to fix it. CONSTITUTION:For instanct, an electrostatic image is exposed on a selesium photosensitive drum 10' to form the image of a toner 9 negatively charged. A transfer drum 30 is so constituted to provide a conductive elastic layer 4 and an insulating layer 5 on a conductive basic material 3. Said transfer drum 30 is impressed by a positive bias voltage 6 and is brought into contact with the photosensitive drum 10' at a contact point A. A transfer material 10 is supplied as shown by an arrow D, and the rear part of said material is nagetively charged by a corona discharge device 7. When the transfer material 10 is entered to the contact part A of the drums 10' and 30, transfer is conducted on the transfer material 10 since the negative toner 9 is attracted to the transfer drum 30. Moreover, the negative transfer material 10 is attracted to the positive transfer drum 30 and securely fixed on the drum. Consequently, even if colors of toner are sequentially charged, the multi-colored picture without color deviation can be obtained since the transfer material is fixed on the drum. |
