PURPOSE:To designate an operating situation simply by reading an information at a reading processing division when an information medium having a predetermined information is installed, thereafter holding it at a holding division and carrying out processing of another information medium only when this information medium is held. CONSTITUTION:A card 10 having a magnetic stripe on which an information is recorded is inserted and then, the existence of the card is detected at the first dection circuit 13, carried by a reciprocating carrier device 14 and the information is read at a processing portion 19. When the information shows the code number of a person in charge and the existence of the card is detected by the second detection circuit 24, the card is taken in a holding division 20 by a driving motor 23. When the existence of the card id detected by a detection circuit 25 and the non-existence of the card is dtected by the second detection circuit 24, the driving motor 23 is stopped, the assigned operation of the person in charge is finished and the processing of the card thereafter can be carried out. Since only while the card is held in the holding division, the processing can be done, the misuse or loss of the card of the person in charge can be prevented and also the mixture with anothe cards can be avoided. |
