The lamp tube is formed of soda lime glass or lead glass. The tube glass is either soda lime glass having a softening temp. of 664-697≦̸C and a linear thermal expansion coeff. of 98-100x10-7cm /cm ≦̸C, or lead glass contg. lead oxide below 12 wt%. The tube is coated inside by fluorescent film, which has 0.2-2.0 % calcium borate. It is coated to 2.9-3.9 mg/cm2.
