PURPOSE:To prevent pinholes from being generated in a recording material due to electric discharge, by a method wherein a high voltage is impressed between a conductive film and a discharge electrode disposed on one side thereof to effect electric discharge, and recording is conducted by adhering a recording medium to a recording material disposed on the other side of the film. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical roller 8 constituted of a conductive film 3 having mesh parts filled with a recording medium, is rotated around a support shaft 9 in the direction of an arrow 10. A plurality of discharge electrodes 1 are disposed in the interior of the roller 8 along the shaft 9, and a high voltage is impressed on the electrodes 1 by a pulse power source 2. The roller 8, i.e., the conductive film 3 and the support shaft 9 are maintained in a conductive condition, while the discharge electrodes 1 and the support shaft 9 are maintained in an insulated condition, so that electric discharge takes place between the electrode 1 and the film 3. The recording material 5 is fed in the direction of an arrow 12 in the condition of being clamped between the roller 8 and a conductor 6, which is biased by an bias power source 7. |
