PURPOSE:To obtain a daisy wheel for a typewriter which enables a mistyped character to be corrected extremely easily and speedily, by providing a correction type having a correction character having an area larger than that of a printing character. CONSTITUTION:The daisy wheel 11 comprises the correction type 12. The correction character 13 constituting the correction type 12 has an area larger than that of the printing characters 14. For example, the correction character 13 is a solid printing character the area of which is large enough to cover any one of the printing character 14. When a character is mistyped, the correction type 12 having the correction character 13 is selected, and is struck against the mistyped character by operating a hammer solenoid, whereby the image of solid printing character or the like is printed overlapping on the mistyped character, and the mistype character is corrected. |
