The flow-control slide valve comprises a throughflow casing acting as guide for a sealing disc with a drive for sliding it over the flow opening. The casing (1) is of a 3-way valve type and has one inlet- (2) and two outlet openings (7, 8), covered by the disc (9) range of travel. One outlet can be connected to an exhaust pipe bypass. In a constructionally simple version, all openings lead to tubular connecting branches whose axes lie in a plane through the disc axis of travel.
